Dama International

• Checkers (Dama) is a two-player strategy board game played on an 8×8 board with 12 pieces per player. It emphasizes planning, forcing moves, and capturing the opponent’s pieces.

 1 -  An 8×8 board. 
 2 -  12 pieces per player.
 3 - Pieces in two contrasting colors (Yellow / Red).
 

• Pieces are placed only on the dark squares.
• Each player occupies the first 3 rows closest to them.
 

Movement :

• A stone moves one step diagonally forward
 

Eating :

• If an opponent’s piece is adjacent with an empty square behind, you must jump and eat it.
 

Forced Eat :

• If a eat is available, it is mandatory
 

Multi-Eating :

• Multiple jumps are allowed in a single turn if available
 

Reverse Attack :

• Allows a stone to jump backward if possible
 

• When a piece reaches the opponent’s last row, it becomes a Minister.
• A Minister can move diagonally forward or backward across multiple empty squares.
 

• If neither player eat any piece within 40 consecutive moves, the game is declared a draw.
 

If one of the following conditions is achieved, it is considered a victory and the score counter is increased by 1 in favor of the winning player : 

• If the player eats all of the opponent's stones. 
• If the player surrounds all of the opponent's stones so that he does not allow the opponent to make any movement. 

If the following condition is achieved, it is considered a tie and the score counter is not increased so that the scores remain the same for each player:

• If the players make 40 moves and no attack occurs during these 40 moves.

The player with the most wins on the score counter wins. 
 

• Control the center.
• Keep back pieces for defense.
• Force your opponent into weak moves.
• The minister with great power, try to reach him as quickly as possible.
 

• Eat all opponent’s pieces.
• Encircling the opponent so they cannot make any legal moves.

Dama Turkish

• Turkish Dama is a special variant of draughts played on an 8×8 board with 16 pieces per player.
• Unlike international Dama, both light and dark squares are used, and pieces have unique movement and eat rules.
 

 1 -  An 8×8 board. 
 2 -  16 pieces per player.
 3 - Pieces in two contrasting colors (Yellow / Red).
 

• Pieces are placed in rows 2 and 3 for each player (row 1 is empty).
• All squares are playable (both light and dark).
 

Movement :

• A stone moves one square forward or sideways.
 

Eating :

• If an opponent’s piece is adjacent with an empty square behind, you must jump and eat it.
• A stone eats forward and sideways only, but can eat backward with a reverse attack
 

Forced Eat :

• If a eats is available, it is mandatory

Multi-Eating :

• Multiple jumps are allowed in a single turn if available
 

Reverse Attack :

• Allows a stone to jump backward if possible
 

• When a piece reaches the opponent’s last row, it becomes a Minister.
• The minister eats in all directions and at multiple distances.
 

• Eat all opponent’s pieces.
• Encircling the opponent so they cannot make any legal moves.
